The Munsell Color System is non-normalized system of value (lightness) and chroma (color purity), but hue circle of this system is normalized. Although PCCS (Practical Color Co-ordinate System) is normalized color system of value and chroma, its hue circle of pure colors is non-normalized. Its pure colors are selected from Munsell Color System of 100 steps, so that its hue circle is 24 steps of equal angles.
マンセルカラーシステムは明度(value)と彩度(chroma)を規格化(正規化)しないカラーシステムですが、色相環(hue circle)については規格化が行われています。PCCS(Practical Color Co-ordinate System)では明度と彩度を規格化しているものの、純色の色相環については規格化を行っていません。PCCSの純色は24段階で等角度になるように、マンセルカラーシステムの100段階の純色から選んであります。
The Munsell System's sRGB data for screen display has 40 steps, and the data is publicly available from Munsell Color Science Lab Educational Resources of Munsell Color Science Laboratory. Not all this 40 steps data corresponds to the 24 steps data, so that I roughly adjusted the angles of this 40 steps.
